GST Inclusive vs Exclusive Price — How to Calculate

Exclusive GST: tax is added on top of the base price (₹1,000 + 18% = ₹1,180). Inclusive GST: the price already contains tax (₹1,180 inclusive → base ≈ ₹1,000 + ₹180 GST).

This guide uses India-specific examples (₹ amounts, tax and investment rules). Linked India-only calculators need INR selected in the currency menu.
